SEEF is a laboratory and research bureau specialised in the detection and analysis of Cr(VI) (chromium-6) and other hazardous substances. We develop and supply analytical methods and products that help organisations manage risks, maintain safe working conditions, and meet legal requirements.
Who we are #
SEEF focuses on the detection and analysis of Cr(VI) and related hazardous substances. Our patented analytical methods have been developed and validated for complex matrices where standard methods, such as NEN 5617, produce unreliable results due to matrix interference. We work for clients in construction, aviation, energy, and heavy industry.

Why clients work with SEEF #
SEEF’s patented method is designed to handle matrix interference from metals such as zinc, aluminium, and copper. At 4 % zinc, our method achieves 89 % recovery where NEN 5617 reaches only 24 %. In practice, this means results that hold up in matrices where standard methods fall short.
We combine on-site sampling, laboratory analysis, interpretation, and advice in a single service. Clients receive a complete picture without needing to coordinate between multiple parties.
Our methods have been validated across multiple analysts without operator-dependent variation. SEEF works in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
