Welcome to the SEEF B.V. (“SEEF”, “we” or “us”) privacy policy. SEEF specialises in chromium-6 (Cr(VI)) detection, laboratory analysis and occupational hygiene consulting. This privacy policy applies to all personal data SEEF processes from visitors to seefbv.com, customers, business relations and other contacts, and describes how this is done in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
SEEF is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR for the processing activities described in this privacy policy.

1. Who we are
SEEF specialises in chromium-6 (Cr(VI)) detection, laboratory analysis and occupational hygiene consulting. You can read more about what we do on our homepage and in our Cr(VI) knowledge base.
2. What personal data we process under this privacy policy
Depending on how you get in touch with SEEF, we process the following categories of personal data.
2.1 Contact via the website
When you fill in a contact form, we process the data you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.
2.2 Orders
When you place an order, we process your name and address details, contact details, invoicing and shipping details, payment details and order history. Payments are processed by an external payment service provider; SEEF does not store full payment details.
2.3 Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your name and email address. You can unsubscribe free of charge at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email.
2.4 Use of the website
When visiting our website, certain data is processed automatically via cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 7 of this privacy policy.
3. Purposes and legal grounds for processing
SEEF processes personal data solely for the purposes listed below, on the basis of the corresponding legal ground under Article 6 GDPR.

4. Disclosure to third parties
SEEF discloses personal data to third parties only to the extent necessary for the purposes listed in section 3, including:
- the hosting provider and IT service providers that manage and maintain SEEF’s website;
- the provider of SEEF’s email marketing platform, for sending newsletters;
- payment service providers, for processing payments;
- delivery services, for the delivery of ordered products;
- SEEF’s accountant or bookkeeper, where relevant for financial administration.
SEEF has entered into a data processing agreement with every party acting as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR. SEEF does not sell personal data to third parties and does not disclose it for purposes other than those described in this privacy policy.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Where any of the parties listed in section 4 processes personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), SEEF ensures that an adequate level of protection is guaranteed, for example through the use of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

SEEF does not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with the following periods:

- right of access to the personal data SEEF processes about you;

- right to erasure of your data, in the cases provided for by the GDPR;

- right to withdraw consent previously given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

If you believe that SEEF is not processing your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy or the GDPR, you can file a complaint with SEEF via info@seefbv.com, or directly with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

SEEF reserves the right to amend this privacy policy, for instance in response to changes in its services or in applicable laws and regulations. The most current version of this privacy policy is always available on this page, together with the date of the last update.
