Why choose SEEF laboratory?
Result within 5 working days
We understand that speed is crucial
At SEEF, we understand that quick clarity is important. That’s why we work with a fixed turnaround time of maximum 5 working days for chromium-6 analyses. Our patented Cr(VI) analysis technique ensures reliable results, without disturbances from metals like zinc or aluminum.
We combine our own method with an efficiently organized laboratory process. This way, you quickly receive a clear report that you can immediately use, whether it’s for on-site research, policy-making, or a release after work has been done.
Never again bothered by matrix failures
Always results!
Many laboratories struggle with reliable chromium-6 measurements due to interferences, particularly from zinc or aluminum. As a result, the measured value can be lower than the actual amount of Cr(VI) in the sample.
SEEF has solved this problem with a patented analytical technique that significantly reduces interference and prevents underestimation of the actual risk. Our method delivers stable, reproducible results on a variety of materials, from coatings to complex insulation samples.
Modern laboratory techniques for reliable results
Patented method, modern equipment
At SEEF, we combine modern laboratory techniques with in-depth knowledge of chromium-6. Our patented Cr(VI) analysis method prevents disruptions and delivers reliable results, even with complex materials. In addition, we use high-quality equipment from Agilent Technologies for our analyses with techniques such as ICP-MS, GC-MS, and UV-VIS.
By continuously investing in technology and craftsmanship, we keep our quality high and our turnaround time short. This way, you can count on clear results that you can act on immediately.

Which chrome-6 method should I choose?
SEEF has developed a patented method for the quantitative analysis of chromium-6. We are able to stabilize Cr(VI) compounds during extraction. With this advanced method, we distinguish ourselves from other analytical techniques by focusing on accuracy and reliability.
The NEN 5617:2022 is a semi-quantitative method, meaning it cannot accurately determine the actual amount due to matrix interferences such as zinc and aluminum. The ISO 15192:2021 is a method for waste and soil, and suffers from the same interferences. This method is intended for soil and waste and not for paint or insulation.

"Until now, I find it a pleasant collaboration with Ferdy and Simon. Quick response, price/quality ratio is great, consultations go well. So far, I let all the chromium-6/lead etc. investigations go through you, and I don't do that lightly. So that already says enough about what I think of your company at this moment, I would say from 1 to 10 I give you a 9."

“I think we owe a lot to the guys at SEEF. Thanks to them, we've been able to improve our inspection skills in the area of chromium-6 and other heavy metals. In addition, we've shared our knowledge and expertise in areas like Asbestos with them. This has led to a nice and especially open collaboration.”
