Our mission

At SEEF B.V., we aim to develop innovative analytical methods and products that can set a new standard in the industry. With our years of expertise and focus on hazardous substances, including chromium-6 compounds, we are dedicated to improving detection techniques for Cr(VI) in coatings, a global issue.

Our patented process provides a reliable and accurate solution for the detection of chromium-6 compounds in complex matrices, such as dry paint samples. We are committed to further developing this technology so that it can become the international standard for safe and effective analysis of chromium-6 compounds. By combining accurate measurements and exposure testing with customer-oriented advice, we want to contribute to a safer working environment and a healthier future, not only in the Netherlands but worldwide.

Additionally, we offer the fastest turnaround time in the market, with results in just 5 days.

Why choose SEEF

SEEF strives for innovative, reliable, and affordable methods for the detection of hazardous substances, both in the laboratory and on-site. Our chromium-6 analysis method has been developed in response to the growing need for a fast and especially reliable analysis for chromium-6. At this moment, our organization is working to comply with ISO17025. Soon, SEEF will start an accreditation application with the Accreditation Council (RvA).

There are various methods to measure chromium-6 compounds in paint layers and coatings, such as the XRF method, where a handheld X-ray scanner detects chrome in the paint layer, followed by a quick test to determine if it concerns chromium-6. Other options, such as cotton swab quick tests, are prone to errors due to the presence of reducing substances or pigments, which can lead to false negatives or false positives results. These methods are not accepted by the Dutch Labor Inspectorate.

By choosing SEEF, you choose the highest quality and reliability.
